Epson T10 Printhead (middle) |
Poor image. I just want to learn how to fix my own printer so I had to take a risk in disassembling my defective Epson C59. Anyway, it was stocked already and had no plan of taking it to repair shop. I dismantled my C59, to be my guide in disassembling my Epson T10 printer which has a broken parts inside it. It took me 2 days to analyze how I was going to take out several parts one by one. With the help of C59 as my guide, I was able to removed and cleaned that T10 head and replaced the broken part with a part found in C59.
Anyway, internal parts of C59 is almost the same as T10 except the cover and the board. Then to sum- up all my experience regarding this, I now know how it was easy to disassemble / assemble Epson T10. It gave me the idea of how sensitive some parts of a printer which mainly made up of plastic. Plus, how parts function accordingly.
So, now I can maintained my own Epson T10 printer which is converted into Continuous Ink System.
