Canon MP145 Error E27

It's been 1 month since my printer Canon MP145 is not functioning properly. However, the past few days, we're still able to copy (xerox) a lot of documents but just  yesterday, it gave up and we can no longer scan a single document. I noticed an error that appears in the unit's menu screen which is E27. I tried everything resetting the waste ink and other possible steps to make it work but still no luck. So last night, while I'm not doing anything, I decided to disassemble the printer to find out why.

This will be my first time to repair Canon MP145. Using some video tutorials on how to dismantle this kind of printer, I was able to make it without any hassle. I may say it is a little bit easy to disassemble a Canon MP145 Printer than Epson T10 or Epson C59.

I found out that the feeder's arm connected to a hole was broken, so I thought to replace it with a metal screw hoping it will work. Then, I also added an extended tube from the waste ink pump connected to an empty plastic bottle to be placed outside the unit. So, whenever it will drained or perform head cleaning, all the waste ink will go directly to the waste ink tank for disposal. So there's no need to worry about waste ink pad being full anymore. Then I assembled it again to see if it will work fine but still, unsuccessful.

But this morning, I tried to find some help from the internet. I search for the answer and this article truly helped me fix the problem. So if you need it too then visit the link.
